Coastlands Hotel Musgrave, based on Durban’s North Ridge Road incorporates two SolarEdge 27.6KW Inverters, powered by 69kW of DC Solar Power. The system is designed on the top most roof of the hotel, a curved Clip Lock North/South curved roof. Rhino Sands is powered by a Three-Phase Schneider XW+ inverter system, incorporating both 25kWp AC and 6kwP DC Coupling into the Solar system. The power storage is in the form of 200ah 2V Cells, connected to give the system 2 days autonomy of power. The Solar System has diesel integrations, where in the event of multiple rainy days the generator will supply the system with sufficient power to reset the storage to maximum capacity allowing the system to continue operating.
